At the beggining of the year we made great peices of koru art. They all turned out great and they are now on our wall being displayed.

Swimming Sports 2009
On the 16th of March 2009 Te Puna school had their swimming sports at Memorial park. We got there and started the events.
The first event was freestyle and our last event was two lengths breaststroke. The people who had came 1st, 2nd or 3rd got to go to the Tall Poppies to represent Te Puna school.
It was a wonderful swimming day and also HOT!!!

Year 7&8 Tall Poppies Swimming Sports 2009
GO TE PUNA SCHOOL!!!
At Greerton pools we competed against 6 or 7 other schools.
Everyone tried their hardest and in the end we did well.
We had one last event and it was the grand relay. We all swam as fast as we could and we came 2nd, but it was a really close race.
We all had a great day. Thanks to the parents who came along to support us!
